Start your Saturday with a hearty village breakfast, served from 9 to 10.30am: a full English, Danish pastries, fresh fruit, and toast and preserves, with tea, coffee, juice or bubbles. Tickets £10, or £5 for under-12s, from any Village Hall Committee member. Everyone welcome.

The Lenches Fireworks Night — The Lenches Club Lenches
Save the date: the club's annual Fireworks Night is back, and bigger than ever. Doors open at 5pm and the professional display, fired from the cricket ground, starts at 7.30pm, so arrive early for a good spot. There's a burger van, pork baps and a pick and mix stall, sparklers and glow bands for the children, apple bobbing, drinks deals at the bar from 6pm and a disco after the fireworks. Entry is free and no membership is needed; cash and card are welcome at every stall. Donations on the night go towards the club's building and renovation work. The Lenches Club →

Weekly regulars: yoga at Abbots Morton Village Hall on Mondays (9.45am; 5 and 26 October this month), Lenches Tennis Club cardio on Tuesdays (6.30pm), tai chi at Abbots Morton on Wednesdays (10am), and candlelight yoga at Rous Lench Village Hall on Thursdays (6.30pm). Sunday services continue across the ARCH benefice churches at Harvington, Rous Lench, Abbots Morton, Church Lench and Norton & Lenchwick.
