The Bar and Lounge
The Lenches Club has two bars. The Sports bar has a Pool Table, Darts and a Skittles Alley as well as a number of recreational games for children. It shows many sporting events through its video screens and hosts a regular Quiz night.
The Sports Bar can also be used as a sizeable function room, complete with a raised staging area and dancefloor. The Sports Bar is available for hire to members for a range of celebrations such as weddings, birthday parties and wakes. The Members Lounge is comfortable with a Snug and Terrace area, affording sweeping views across the Worcestershire countryside as far as the Malvern Hills. Traditional games such as Bridge are also played in the lounge.
Dogs are welcome, provided they are well behaved and their owners respect the other guests who might not be quite so dog friendly.
About
The Lenches Club has been operating since 1948 when a local landowner provided a site in Church Lench for the development of a private club. It now serves as a focal point for the local community where one can meet friends, enjoy a convivial drink and one of the best views in the county.
The Lenches Club is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which has a Board of Directors who
oversee the running of the Club together with a Bar/Facilities Manager.
The Lenches Club is run in accordance with the Club Rules, which are regularly reviewed and any
amendments are proposed at the Annual AGM, normally held in April every year.
The Club welcomes new members. Annual membership is great value for money with benefits
including one of the best views in Worcestershire, access to sports and children’s recreation
facilities, competitive drink prices, free room hire, and priority invitations to Club events.
Our doors are also open to visitors, subject to the usual limitations of a club environment.
The club is used by a range of organisations as a meeting place.
