Reviews
"Have been here a few times now and every time the hospitality is brilliant and of course the food is superb. Looking forward to being able to sit inside the venue as at the moment a wee bit chilly at night. Very recommended to all!"

"Bright, clean and airy if basic decor to this local. Booked ahead due to the pandemic. Great Steak and Chips and the two real ales were excellent condition. Friendly staff."

"We went for Sunday lunch yesterday and it was just fabulous. Small menu so all fresh food, rather than pub grub out of the freezer. King prawn (huge !) kebabs and basmati rice with honey and soy dip, the roast was strip loin of beef which literally melted in my mouth, roasted root veggies and proper fluffy roast potatoes, proper rich gravy. My friend had partridge breasts wrapped in smoked bacon with sticky red cabbage with red wine sauce. Mum had fresh Turbot with lemon caper butter, new potatoes with a lovely zingy dressing and watercress salad. And nice surprise it came with lovely browned cauliflower cheese. Cant wait to go back after lockdown!"
